TELS Community Receives Traditional Blessing

The TELS: Thailand English Language School community gathered recently for a special and deeply meaningful event: a traditional Thai blessing ceremony to welcome good fortune, peace, and success to our newly opened primary campus.

We were incredibly honoured to host the Venerable [Name of Monk or use a title like "a respected Buddhist Monk"] who graciously conducted the sacred rites. The ceremony serves as a powerful symbol of our commitment to establishing a harmonious and positive environment for our students and staff, seeking prosperity for the academic year ahead.

A Harmonious Start to Our School Journey

During the ceremony:

• The Monk performed the traditional chanting, offering prayers for the well-being and safety of everyone who learns and works on our campus.

• He blessed the main administrative offices, classrooms, and community spaces, sanctifying the environment as a dedicated place of learning and growth.

• The ceremonial holy water was sprinkled throughout the school, symbolizing purity and the washing away of any obstacles or misfortune.

• The blessing culminated with the tying of the sincana cord (sacred thread) around key areas of the building, symbolizing the connection and unity of our TELS family.

Building Our Community with Positive Energy

This ceremony was not only a beautiful cultural experience but also a vital moment for our new community. It reflects our dedication to creating a holistic environment where spiritual and cultural values underpin academic pursuits.

We thank all the parents, staff, and community members who attended this foundational event. We look forward to a year filled with curiosity, excellence, and the continued good fortune bestowed upon our school!

Today, our school carried out a meaningful New Year outreach by delivering New Year gifts to the Director of the Labour Department and key local offices. These visits were a wonderful opportunity to express our appreciation and strengthen our cooperation with the community.

The first visit took place at the Education Office , followed by a visit to the Employment Office.

We are grateful for the warm reception at each office and look forward to continued collaboration in the coming year. This event reflects our school’s commitment to building strong relationships and moving forward together into the New Year.

This visit was a wonderful opportunity to exchange perspectives, ideas, and business experiences, as well as to build strong relationships that will lead to sustainable growth together
